As a result of the current health emergency the Shepherds Cot is now closed and gates to the site are now locked. All activities on the Cot have been cancelled until further notice. Shepherds Cot is open to pedestrians, cyclists and dog walkers and Trustees would advise all in our community to take notice of advice from Public Health England before undertaking your once a day outdoor exercise and follow current advice on social distancing.
Following the statement from the Prime Minister on Monday 23rd March all activities at the club have now been suspended. The courts and clubhouse are closed. The advice is very specific that Tennis Courts are not to be used. Please do not use them.
AGM Following the government’s announcement yesterday asking the public to adopt social distancing practices, the club’s 29th March Annual General Meeting (AGM) is postponed until such time as it is suitable to reconvene. The quiz night is for teams with a max 6 people. Come along with a team and a team name or cone along and we will find a team for you.
On Sunday 8 March we will be holding the fifth Charity Tournament. It will take the form of a mixed doubles round robin handicap tournament. There will be no need to find a partner to enter, and if the genders are not equal we will improvise.
