Mixed doubles tournament – Sunday 14th December

- Entry fee: £5 per person
Entrants should be as mixed pairs, either with your mixed ladder partner or another partner of your choice. If you would like to enter but don’t have a partner, then come along to social tennis on Saturday and Sunday afternoons and you will soon find one!
There are a maximum of 15 spaces available for pairs, although this will be reduced to 10 if the school courts are out of action. If this happens then places will be allocated on a first come first served basis, so get yourself signed up on the sheet in the clubhouse, or e-mail Nicky Wellfair (nwellfair@hotmail.com).
The tournament will initially be a round-robin style format, where entrants are placed in groups and you play everybody in your group. Depending on numbers, this will then be followed by semi finals and a final, with prizes for the winners and runners up! The tournament should be finished by approx 4/4.30pm.
The aim of the tournament is to offer a slightly different take on social tennis, so please note that all non-coaching courts have been allocated to the tournament for the afternoon. If you usually play social tennis, then find yourself a partner and sign up!
