A Fun Day for All the Community in our Sporting Oasis.

Join us for a fun filled day to celebrate the unique association of Hanley, Highgate and North London Cricket & Tennis clubs that is the Shepherd Cot Trust.

WHEN:

12:00 – Grand Opening at Highgate Cricket & Lawn Tennis Club

12:30 – 16:30 – Fun cricket match: The Shepherds v The Cotters

13:00 – 15:00 – Hanely Tennis Clinic

13:30 – 16:30 Girls ‘have a go’ cricket

13:45 – 14:30 – Match interval fun and games for all / Tug of war

15:00 – 16:00 – Hanley v Highgate Tennis match (at Hanley)

16:45 – Grand Closing Ceremony at Hanley Tennis Club. Prizes and presentation by Catherine West MP

    

Tennis timetable of the cot day:

  • Inclusive tennis Joe (Court 1&2) 1-3pm blind tennis, (Court 1) 3-4pm wheelchair tennis
  • S&C / Cardio Tennis Piotr (Court 3) 1-4pm.  Piotr has timetable of activities.
  • Juniors (Court 2) 3-4pm top young junior demo, Rob.
  • Coaching and games (court 4), 1-2pm Steve coaching. 2-4pm fastest serve, games etc…Roy/coaches

Parking: (To be managed by SCT Marshals on entrances all day)

  • All parking by Trust clubs and all attending Cot Day is in Highgate Wood School Car Park,  Montenotte Road, N8 8RN which will be open 11.30 – 6.30pm
  • North London Car Park: Available to North London Cricket only from 10am  – 12 Noon, and Disabled players attending Cot Day all day.
  • Until approx 4pm the car park is not available for others unless specially authorised as a Fire Engine will be in place. After the Fire engine leaves, the car park will be available for all. It means that anyone who has parked their car in the School car park and who needs their car after 6.30 will have to move it from the school before 6.30 and re-park.
  • No Highgate or Hanley parking from Park Road entrance except for essential deliveries  and emergency vehicles.
  • All Stars Cricket at Highgate 10am to 11.30 am  – No parking at Highgate road by old oak which will be closed to traffic all day (except deliveries and emergency vehicles) Parents will be able to park up by bungalow but must leave before 12 noon.

World Cup and Queens Club Tennis Final

  • World Cup on TV in all clubhouse so you won’t miss all the action
  • Queens Club Tennis will also be on in Highgate and Hanley
  • For those who want to ESCAPE THE WORLD CUP – there’s plenty do and there’s Hanley for genteel afternoon tea and cake on the lawn!!!

Leaflets

There are lots of leaflets in all the clubhouses. Clubs have paid for these, so please take some and give them to neighbours, friends, shops, gyms – anyone!
