Start the season tournament – Monday 5th May

Kick-off the season officially with an American Doubles Tournament – Bank Holiday Monday 5th May

Enjoy the May Bank Holiday playing some tennis, win some prizes, and for those not in La Manga, why not participate in the start the season doubles tournament.

Registration and draw from 12.30pm, start at 1pm with finals at 4.00pm.  Followed by Wimbledon 2014 ticket draw.

The tournament will be based on a American Doubles Tournament, where the highest ranked men and women players are pitched with the weakest, with winners moving up a court and losers down a court.  Sets are 7 games long and you play with a different partner for each set.  Each participant plays 5 rounds and there will be prizes for the best placed men and women.

Entry fee is £6 and that will include free tea, coffee and cake.  Sign-up sheets are in the club house – please sign-up by Sunday 4th May, but you can join on the day also.
